As a Science Communication Intern, you’ll have the perfect opportunity to gain insight into the world of science communication while acquiring valuable experience in simplifying complex scientific concepts into engaging content across various media for our clients. This is a part-time, fully remote position with flexible hours and no specific time zone requirement.
Responsibilities:
- Researching and fact-checking scientific information using reputable sources such as PubMed
- Assisting in creating written and visual content for various mediums such as social media, blog posts, infographics, and apps
- Simplifying complex scientific concepts to make them accessible to a general audience
- Keeping up-to-date with the latest developments in our clients’ fields of interest
- Collaborating with our team to develop and execute effective communication strategies
- Adhering to tight deadlines and working efficiently
Qualifications:
- Pursuing a degree (Bachelor/Master/PhD) in a relevant field such as health sciences or communication
- Strong interest in biohacking, nutrition, sports, and related areas
- Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Illustrator, or Photoshop is a plus
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a remote team
